Description
makeART Classes has been created to provide creative opportunities for all ages within the community. We at makeART believe all children were born artists and our aim is to replace the iPad with a canvas, the mouse with a paintbrush and the phone with a palette.

All classes run on a term basis beginning one week after school starts and finishes one week before school ends. Each term is based on a particular theme or artist mixing things up to include drawing, painting, collage and 3D art. The elements and principles of art are explored at the same time as experimenting with different mediums and ways to make art as they are the foundations are the building blocks to making art in whatever form the artist prefers such as anime, manga, cartoons, painting and drawing.

All the art activities undertaken by the children are suitable for any age group. It is up to the child as to the outcome. The children are encouraged to focus on the process of making art and not worry about the end result as the classes are about exploring new materials, making marks, building strong observation skills, developing perseverance while having fun developing new skills.
