Learn with Lena is an online literacy program aimed at children in years 3,5,7 and 9.

With over 50 years experience teaching English in Malaysia, London and Australia, she knows how to teach children about spelling, punctuation and grammar.

This online course includes animated video, quizzes and step by step instructions that not only explain but teach and reinforce.

The course includes grammar, spelling, punctuation, reading comprehension, writing and NAPLAN style tests.

Best of all, with the writing unit, your child can submit answers which will be marked by an English teacher.

This is a great resource to help your child know how to use an apostrophe properly or the difference between there, their and they're.

Your child will have 180 days in which to complete the course and will receive certificates at milestones along the way. We would recommend that your child completes two quizzes a week. Each quiz should take no longer than 30 minutes with exception to the writing.

You will receive emails regarding your child's results and progress. We will also let you know when your child hasn't logged on for a while.

We know that school teachers are having to deal with large class sizes coupled with the fact that in most circumstances both parents work and you have to deal with after school activities, the demands of other children and family it can be hard to find the time to help your child with some additional assistance when in comes to literacy.
