Are you looking for someone to help your child with maths? It may be that they just need some further explanation and reinforcement of what has been taught in class or else they may need help in understanding some key concepts.

I have more than 35 years of experience teaching maths to children of all levels including those with ADHD or maths anxiety.

My practice caters for children in Years 1 - 12 inclusive. I design an individual program for each student according to the syllabus and relevant to the specific needs of the child at the time. I continually assess and reassess their skills and progress and adjust the program accordingly.

I try to make my lessons fun and enjoyable.

    Patient, kind and knowledgeable
    Yvonne has been teaching my primary school aged son for a few years now. She's patient, kind and knowledgeable and he loves going to see her each week. Yvonne knows when to push a child to have a go, when to give him them a hand and just how to explain things so they get it straight away. We will continue using her services into high school next year.

    Fantastic Fun Maths Tutor
    Yvonne has been tutoring my daughter for a few months now . She is ten out of ten , my daughter 's approach to maths has changed , she is much more confident and is actually finally grasping basic concepts that should have been cemented in the class .Yvonne lays down the foundations well, she uses visual props , games and many techniques to ensure your child finally grasps the concepts .Sophie says it is " fun " and enjoys the time .Yvonne is completely familiar with the entire school curriculum and has been communicating with my daughter's class teacher , she is more than happy to go this extra mile

    Nurturing and Patient - we love Yvonne
    Yvonne has been amazing with my daughter - she is patient, thorough and nurturing. My daughter has really bonded with Yvonne and is happy to have her math lesson every week and really enjoys it. We wanted our daughter to have confidence in maths and ensure that she wasn’t left behind in class. Yvonne is able to break down concepts and get our daughter involved. We can’t recommend Yvonne enough.

    Transformative Maths Coach
    Yvonne is amazing. Seemingly limitless patience and understanding of children who have a hard time understanding maths. Lots of practical and concrete tools have really helped my 13 year old son grasp basic maths concepts while he had previously struggled to understand. It has boosted his knowledge, classroom participation and most importantly his self esteem. Thank you Yvonne !
