Hello and welcome! I'm Jen and I offer counselling services for women, teens, and children. I approach therapy from a positive, solution-focused, and strengths-based perspective to help you find practical solutions, learn new skills, and move towards the goals and desires you have for your life. I believe the foundation of all successful therapy begins with a strong professional relationship between counsellor and client and strive to help you feel welcomed, accepted, and supported. Therapy is integrative, tailored to the individual client, and relies on a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

As a former teacher, school chaplain, and mother of five myself, I understand the issues women, teens, and children encounter. I have experience working with a variety of issues including anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, grief and loss, emotional regulation difficulties, depression, self-esteem concerns, and parenting support.
