Improv is a whole lot of fun and the perfect way to kick off the weekend! Students will explore the basic principles of improvisation in a fun, creative and supportive environment. Improv is perfect for exploring creativity, supporting social skills, and building confidence. No previous acting experience required, it is a low-stress introduction to acting while also a great tool for the budding actor or comedian. Over the 8-week term, students will be introduced to the basic tenets of improvisation such as: - Agreement - Creating characters - Building fantastical worlds - Working together with other actors - Storytelling The course runs for 8 weeks every Saturday morning. Friends and family are invited to attend a portion of the final class where the students will share what they have learned. This class is for students who are currently in grades 1 through 6.
