As we are not term-based, you have the flexibility to start your child in classes anytime. We focus on the long-term benefit of exercise for children and to give them a FUN, positive experience in sports. However, Little Kickers is not a guaranteed passport to soccer fame! The real goal of Little Kickers is to use soccer as a fun forum to instill in children a little extra confidence, coordination, control, and a sense of camaraderie, which we feel will stand them in excellent stead for the future. Guided by the likes of FA qualified coaches, childcare teachers, child health specialists and proactive parents the Little Kickers program is an ever-evolving quest to teach fundamental football techniques and elementary life skills in a vibrant group play environment. invaluable social skills like listening, sharing, taking turns and teamwork are conscientiously woven into an involving program that places as much emphasis on simple learning concepts like colours and numbers as it does on fine-tuning a child’s basic balance, agility and coordination. Important Information Children attending our camp will need to be self-sufficient and be able to use the bathroom, organise their own lunch (if staying all day) and apply sunscreen themselves as and when reminded by our coaches. Each participant must bring their own labelled drink bottle, food/snacks, sunscreen and a sunhat. It might be warm out there, so we will require all participants to apply sunscreen before arriving at the camp. Our coaches will also remind everyone to reapply sunscreen and stay hydrated during the day. We would also like to highlight that we are a nuts free camp. Please arrive early to allow time to find a parking spot as these are limited. Example day Every camp day is different to allow players to learn new skills and interact with others in a positive way. We do however follow a similar structure each day as the coaches find this is the best way to keep players engaged and progressing. Music is so much more than just playing an instrument. The music skills of listening, understanding, creating and enjoying music play a key role in a child’s development and should be experienced by all children. Using action songs, body percussion, story-telling and guided listening activities, our teacher will engage your child in a musical world that can lead to a life enriched by music. Open to students aged 3-10, the Kids at the Con classes serve as a fantastic introduction to music class where students are engaged and are free to explore their musical creativity in a welcoming and non-competitive environment. Communications skills programs or school students Kindy - Year 12 Public speaking is a core skill that provides lifelong benefits – whether speaking to a small group of people or to a stadium filled with 50,000. Once gained, learning public speaking makes a person more confident overall. Whatever your grade in school is - get over your fears by continuous practice of these skills. With Creative Writing, we teach students to really dig down dip, to not just take things as they are on the surface but to investigate, which is a lesson that will remain with them throughout the rest of their lives. The real benefit of learning Creative Writing while in school, is the gift of giving students a new way to look at themselves and it teaches organisational skills that go beyond NAPLAN and HSC.
