Hi, I studied a bachelor of applied social science (counselling) and used a lot of what I learned in raising my children and improving my skills as a mother. I also have a professional certificate in Nutrition and Food Coaching, as well as having a certificate in whole-food and plant based nutrition. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2002 and was on medication for 15 years. I was able to reduce my medication using my diet and I lost 30kg in 5 months in 2017. Believing I had conquered my demons I let certain diet restrictions lapse and gained 20kg back. I have since lost another 8kg and incorporate mind, body and spirit into my coaching. My goal is to help women understand what the body needs after giving birth so their thyroids stay in balance.
