Description

Les Petits Painters holds fun art classes for kids, ages 3-9 years. Thoughtfully prepared classes introduce kids to a wide range of media and techniques. Kids will enjoy experimenting and exploring materials such as acrylics, watercolours, oil pastels, clay, fabric paint, and more.

A mix of craft and painting activities keeps the kids actively entertained. There's something new all the time. Colour, line and patterns, proportion, depth and the elements of art are intertwined with fun projects. Kids express themselves creatively and bring home skills to apply on their own art.

Early exposure to art benefits kids as it stimulates the mind and develops creativity.

Child development through art assists in cognitive, physical, social and emotional skills:
- builds problem solving skills
- boosts self-confidence
- improves social skills, making new friends and getting along with other kids
- helps them express their feelings, non verbally
- teaches them to search for solutions

Classes held morning (preschool) and afternoons for 5-9 year olds on Thursday and Saturday mornings in Chatswood. Classes hold a maximum of 8 children.

Les Petits Painters offers art lessons to stimulate young people’s minds and develop them mentally, socially, physically (dexterity, coordination, observation), and emotionally.

Children will acquire skills through new techniques and processes using a wide range of tools, learn about new materials, and create projects that express their thoughts and personality.

Art classes are Thursdays, 10:00 - 11:00 am; 9 weeks each term.
