I had a trial class with Tiny Treble Makers last term and I was absolutely wonderful my child and I had a wonderful time. Kiri who led the class was friendly and informative with email interactions before our class. She responded in a timely and professional manner. In the class Kiri was able to engage the children really well and even more important keep them engaged. Through a variety of musical and movement activities. the class was full of lost if short activities and we made some sounds and music with instruments. The large drum that all the children play was an absolute favourite and is a lovely way to start and end the class. I also liked the fact that we were shown a little bit of sign language and a song in another language. We are looking forward to the new term to join in again.

At IWIM , we believe that a balanced attitude toward lifelong music learning should be encouraged in every person. The benefits of a music education have been well-documented and really should be considered as a necessary component of every child’s learning; but also, we know that the study of music enhances personal skills , such as patience, problem-solving, creativity, self-expression, concentration and memorization, to name a few. Our students should be able to look forward to attending the ... More lessons and practicing their instruments. IWIM’s teachers know how to adjust and tailor their teaching methods according to the learning style of the student…no two students are taught in exactly the same way! We think that students should be guided through the challenges of learning new skills with patience and understanding. Everyone can enjoy playing a musical instrument at a level that is appropriate for the individual. Although not every student can expect to be able to perform music ...

Okay, here's the deal. We are passionate musicians that have first hand experience of the joy that is derived from being able to play, at any level. Whether you want to just entertain yourself and shake off a bad day or you want to take the stage and bring joy and emotion to a room full of people: we've done it and can show you how. Every teacher here is a schooled and working musician that wants to show others how to enjoy this art form. We run Guitar, Bass, Singing, Keyboard/Piano, Drums ... More and music theory classes and all of our teachers are working with children checked. We could give you facts and details on the research being done that proves music touches and opens areas of the brain that nothing else can. It can be used as therapy for learning and physical disorders and help to develop social skills, but when it comes down to it, we love to play and we want to share that gift with as many as we can. It's that simple.
