The Parent-Child relationship is so vital to the healthy development of the child. This connection influences their self-concept, how they relate to others and their engagement with the world around them. Every interaction between caregiver and child has the ability to lay a sound foundation of resilience, self-worth and empathy and other valuable skills to assist their overall well-being.
Parenting can be overwhelming in the early years, as children develop at a rapid pace and transition through
many new phases. Parents may be faced with behaviours that are unfamiliar or uncomfortable to them, which can be challenging to navigate. We aim to assist parents to understand what is happening for their child through each phase, and provide the skills to interact with them to promote a cooperative partnership. The goal is to boost confidence in the parental role and foster enjoyment in the growth and development of the natural child.
