At Birth Care we have been in service to pregnant, birthing and new mothers for over 35 years.
Offering wisdom, encouragement, expertise and support.
Empowering them to strive for the birth they desire.
Assisting them to navigate the transformation into motherhood.
We believe that Natural Physiological Childbirth & Exclusive Breastfeeding is the norm for humans and we actively encourage both.
We hold the birth space around birthing women wherever they choose to birth.
We believe every woman regardless of age, religion, ethnicity, gender orientation or socio economic status has the right to unbiased support.
We work with women who desire a natural birth after a caesarean and those with birth trauma and/or loss.
We offer the following Doula Services:
Pregnancy, Labour and Birth Doula Services.
Postnatal & Breastfeeding Education and Support.
Natural Birth after Caesarean Education and Support.
Parenting Education and Support
Birth Breath for Labour.
Rebozo.
Massage.
Birth, Loss and Trauma De-briefing.
Closing of the Bones.
Training:
Comprehensive Childbirth Attendant/Doula Training.
Postnatal Doula Training.
Breastfeeding Education.
Childbirth Education.
All of our services are offered at no cost for women under 20 years of age.
